Structure of PACIDA Kenya

PACIDA is an indigenous, non-sectarian, non-profit making organization. Established in 2008 with its headquarters in Marsabit County in Northern Kenya, PACIDA works with marginalized pastoralist and agro-pastoralist populations in the arid and semi-arid areas in Kenya to end poverty and hunger and provide sustainable solutions to the challenges affecting vulnerable households and communities.

The organization is governed by a seven member Board of Directors charged with the key responsibilities for strategy and policy formulation and guidance.

At program level, PACIDA is administered by the Executive Management comprising of the Executive Director, Programs & Partnership Director and Finance & Operations Director, who are responsible for the implementation of the decisions taken by the Board of Directors.

The PACIDA team consists of over 50 members working in Marsabit county to provide sustainable solutions to the challenges affecting vulnerable households and communities. The members of our team are drawn from the professionals in their fields, which range from logistics and finance, to project management.
